1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using iSaveBill ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

iSaveBill provides a receipt tracking and expense management platform that allows users to upload, organize, and analyze their receipts and invoices. The Service includes features such as OCR text extraction, expense categorization, and financial reporting.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Providing accurate and complete information during registration

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other user accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purposes

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention Policy

iSaveBill retains your receipt data, including uploaded images and associated records, for a maximum period of ten (10) years from the date on each receipt. This retention period exceeds typical government requirements for tax records (usually 7 years) to provide you with ample time for record-keeping purposes.

After the 10-year retention period:

• Receipt records will be automatically and permanently deleted
• All associated images will be removed from our storage systems
• Related data such as purchase protection records will also be deleted
• This process occurs automatically and cannot be reversed

We recommend that you export or download any important records before they reach the 10-year retention limit. You are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of any data you wish to retain beyond this period.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service may require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by iSaveBill and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a license to use, store, and process it to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iSaveBill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy of OCR-extracted data and recommend verifying all extracted information.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
